Nationwide Plus Criminal Background Check
FEDERAL:
The Federal search includes criminal
records that fall under Federal Law. These records originate from the
Federal District Courts within each state. They can include the
interstate distribution of drugs, firearms, kidnapping, embezzlement,
and other federal level crimes. Federal offenses are generally felonies
and result in at least one year of incarceration.
Results may include
docket, offense, and disposition information. This search is conducted
with the subject's name only on a per state basis. Due to the wide
scope, a common name can generate multiple hits. Therefore, a middle
name is highly recommended if available. Currently records date back to
the late 1980s.
SOCIAL SECURITY VERIFICATION:
Social Security numbers are based upon credit
reports. Access to the Social Security Administration is not available
to private companies.
